The ALUTRUSS QUADLOCK QL-ET34 Top Piece is a high-quality component of the modular QL-ET34 4-point truss system and serves as the top cap for truss towers and vertical structures. It was specifically designed for use in stage construction, trade show construction, event technology, as well as for permanent installations in clubs and theaters. Thanks to its robust construction, polished surface, and precise workmanship, it is a reliable solution for professional use.

Part of the proven QL-ET34 system

Like all elements of the system, the top piece is based on the conical QUICK-LOCK connection system. The connection is quick, tool-free, and provides a force- and form-fit assembly via pins and cotter pins. The precision-machined plug-in connections guarantee high stability and durability—ideal for frequent setup and takedown.

High-strength materials for maximum load capacity

The top piece is made of the EN-AW 6082 T6 aluminum alloy (AlMgSi1 T6), which is known for its outstanding strength combined with low weight. The 50-mm-diameter tubular members with a 2-mm wall thickness, as well as 20-mm-thick struts with a 2-mm wall thickness, ensure optimal load-bearing capacity even with vertically applied loads.

Compact dimensions for versatile integration

With its compact dimensions of 31 x 29 x 29 cm, the top piece is perfectly suited for use on tower structures, ground supports, or custom solutions with vertical truss sections. The 240 mm hole spacing ensures full compatibility within the QL-ET34 system.

The high-gloss polished aluminum surface not only provides an elegant look but also protects the material from corrosion and signs of wear—perfect for visible applications at trade shows, on stages, or in installations with high design standards.

Made in Europe – TÜV-certified quality

Manufacturing takes place in Europe using state-of-the-art production technology. The welds are performed using the TIG pulse process with AlMg 5 welding material by SLV-certified welders. Production is subject to monitoring by TÜV Süd. A load table for structural calculations is available online.

Note: This top piece may only be used within the QL-ET34 system and cannot be combined with other truss systems.
