The KX500MS is the flagship model of the new, revised KX series. The outstanding features are the multiscale fan bundling, the diagonally mounted EMG707 pickups and the bridge with individual elements. The poplar rootwood top on swamp ash body and the 5-piece maple amaranth neck with Marcassar ebony fingerboard stand out optically. The optimal guitar for all friends of the harder rock and metal genre who are looking for a powerful sound with a tight foundation. The multiscale fan fret provides a much more defined, powerful and crisp foundation, especially on the deep H and E strings. The intensive poplar rootwood top on swamp ash body are perfectly tuned to each other and deliver a powerful tone with emphasis on the upper midrange spectrum, so that it always sounds very present and asserts itself well in the mix. Each string runs over an individual bridge element, which greatly improves string separation and reduces cross-talk from string to string, significantly improving articulation and definition. Sometimes less is more, the popular combination of 3-way switch with master volume and tone potentiometer delivers the classic sounds and lets the player concentrate on the essentials. Marcassar ebony is very similar to rosewood in appearance and sound, it produces a very full sound with fine, assertive trebles. The new drop inlays in the fingerboard give the guitar its individual optical touch. The clamping mechanisms provide excellent tuning stability, precise tuning and fast string changes. The neck adjustment screw in the body makes it very easy and comfortable to adjust the neck curvature. The 5-piece neck made of maple and amaranth is extremely stable and weather-resistant and provides optimum vibration transmission to the body.
