The integrated Class D amplifier delivers an RMS output of 2 x 240 W into 8 ohms or 1 x 240 W bridged at 100 V - ideal for 100 V sound reinforcement systems or powerful zone solutions. The peak output is 460 W. The amplifier supports both stereo and bridge mode and offers flexible output options via XLR, Phoenix and screw terminal connections.

There are five line inputs (RCA) on the rear, while the front has a TRS/XLR combo socket for microphone or line signals and a 3.5 mm TRS aux input. The integrated USB interface supports storage media up to 128 GB (FAT16/FAT32/exFAT) and reads modern formats such as FLAC, APE and ALAC - also ideal for audiophile requirements.

Wireless connectivity is provided via Wi-Fi or LAN - including support for Spotify, Tidal, TuneIn, Amazon Music and more via the 4stream app. Alternatively, the device can also be used as a hotspot to connect devices directly. Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD ensures wireless audio quality at a high level with a range of up to 15 meters.

User-friendly operation with display, app & remote control

Operation is intuitive via the front panel with buttons for mode selection, volume, bass, treble and microphone level as well as an easy-to-read 1.4" OLED display. The PA-5500SA can also be conveniently controlled using the supplied IR remote control or via the app. The app enables access to a wide range of streaming services and the storage of six favorites (e.g. Spotify playlists or TuneIn radio stations), which can be called up directly.

Thanks to the sophisticated protection mechanisms such as clip limitation, overheating, overvoltage and short-circuit protection as well as soft start technology, operation is safe and reliable at all times. The robust steel housing with powder coating meets the requirements for professional installation (IP20, for indoor use only).
