Description

Dateq SPL 2 TS Limiter Product Details

SPL2

The SPL2 is the basic version which guards the sound pressure level under all circumstances. It offers the most cost effective solution to your sound level problems. This limiter is recommended as 'the best' by an increasing number of professional sound system installers.

The limiters' microcontroller continuously measures the input-level and attenuates the output level as much as necessary to keep the sound level underneath the given threshold. Because the SPL-limiters are no peak limiters the dynamics of the music remains unchanged.

The SPL2 has the ability to adjust the sound-level (actual output-level) and the threshold (input sensitivity).

All the connectors, the sound-level and threshold controller are inaccessible after the limiter is sealed.

The SPL2TS has a built in clock/ timer. This makes it possible to program a completely different sound level at different periods of the day. The built in calendar allows you to program a list of 20 dates to switch the limiter to bypass automatically. All these settings can be adjusted by using the PC-software.
