ENGL Cabloader

The ENGL Cabloader is a full-featured speaker simulator, IR loader and DI box. This all-in-one solution can turn your pedalboard into a full DI rig, create a perfect connection from your amp to a recording interface or provide a great way to connect pedals to your headphones for silent practicing.

The Cabloader offers a variety of IR-based digital cabinet simulation models as well as various emulations for microphones and optional power amps. These allow you to digitally recreate the sound and feel of a fully miked guitar speaker and experiment with speaker models that you may never experience in real life. Third-party IR loading is also supported via the proprietary software, so you can load WAV IR files from any of your favorite manufacturers or studios.
