With the ESP LTD 30th Anniversary KH-3 Spider electric guitar, ESP Guitars celebrates the 30th birthday of the Kirk Hammett Singlecut model, which the Metallica guitarist commissioned in 1991 and used as part of the support tours for the legendary Black Album. ESP relies on a full-length, three-piece maple neck, which is complemented by alder body wings and a fingerboard made of Macassar ebony. With the extra thin U neck profile and scalloping from the 17th fret, perfect conditions are created for very comfortable and fast playing characteristics. For uninhibited lead acrobatics with the whammy bar, the LTD KH-3 electric guitar comes with a Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo and the EMG KH Bone Breaker pickups elicit every last ounce of gain from every note played and ensure sharply focused mids.
