R&B mixed with jazz, rock and classical, then again he played Caribbean inspired licks and melodies. The central instrument was his fretless Fender Sunburst Jazz Bass®. This is exactly what Fender is reissuing with the Jaco Pastorius Jazz Bass. With everything you need to follow in Jaco's musical footsteps: Alder body, C-profile maple neck with fret markers, rosewood fingerboard, single-coil Jazz Bass pickups and vintage-style reverse tuners. Fluted chrome Precision Bass® knobs and neck plate with engraved name complete the authentic design.
