The Red Series is synonymous with the highest class of Furch guitars, which are truly uncompromising in terms of materials and components. The Red Pure LR is crafted from premium alpine spruce for the top and Indian rosewood for the back and sides. Both tops go through our innovative voicing process which, combined with the material used, gives the instrument a beautiful, versatile sound with clear and open tones. The beauty of the tonewood is enhanced by a resonance-enhancing satin finish and a number of decorative details, most notably a redheart purfling and koa rosette, binding and position markers. The guitar comes in an extremely durable, heat-insulated Hiscox case.

Unique voicing process

The premium character of the Red Pure LR is underlined by the fact that both the soundboard and the back plate are individually tuned using the voicing process, a Furch proprietary technology that enhances the guitar's tonal characteristics at the highest level. As a result, the Red Pure LR has a crystal clear, harmonically rich, balanced and highly dynamic sound across the entire tonal spectrum.

Resonance-enhancing satin finish

The guitar's body is coated with an ultra-thin and uniform UV full-pore satin finish that Furch developed to maximize the instrument's resonance characteristics while providing superior protection. The foundation of the finish is our high gloss lacquer, with the final layer applied with a matte finish. This gives the guitar a beautiful, slightly matte appearance.

The beauty of exotic wood

The luxurious look of the Red Pure LR is enhanced by a combination of fingerboard, bridge and headstock overlay made of grained ziricote. The body, headstock and fingerboard of the guitar are bound with Koa with white contrast line, complemented by a body inlay made of Redheart. In addition to the binding, the ring rosette and string trim were also made of koa.
