Fast neck, balanced sound

The heart of the guitar is the five-piece Wizard 7 neck made of maple and wenge. It is particularly thin, flat and extremely fast, but at the same time offers high stability and control. This construction is ideal for technically demanding playing styles, fast riffs and complex leads. The bolt-on neck-to-body transition ensures a direct response and supports the precise transmission of vibrations.

The bound rosewood fingerboard complements the neck with a balanced sound that delivers clear mids, pleasant warmth and defined highs. In combination with the jumbo frets and the Prestige Fret Edge Treatment, the result is a smooth playing feel with a quick response and clean articulation across the entire fingerboard.

Assertive sound and reliable hardware

The ash body contributes significantly to the dynamic and lively sound character of the guitar. It delivers natural brilliance, a tight low-end and rich sustain. This foundation is complemented by the DiMarzio® PAF®7 pickups, which are known for their open basses, warm highs and musical clarity. This makes the guitar suitable for powerful high-gain sounds as well as differentiated, expressive passages.

The Gotoh® MG-T locking tuners ensure tuning stability and comfortable handling, allowing strings to be changed quickly and safely. The Gibraltar Standard III bridge with optimized base plate and string saddles ensures a high level of playing comfort and efficient transmission of string vibrations. The overall package is rounded off by a custom-fit Ibanez hardshell case, which offers optimum protection during transportation and storage.
