So Martin Cohen used his technical know-how and built his first own bongo set. A little later - in 1964 he founded Latin Percussion (LP) and started to deliver bongos and cowbells, wrapped in brown paper, to musicians in the clubs. This close connection and the exchange of first-hand experience with the artists of the Latin music scene, contribute significantly to the success story of the brand and are still an integral part of the company's philosophy - the demands of the musicians come first.
