Technical details of the Midiplus Up+ DAW expansion controller

The Midiplus Up+ is specially designed as an extension for the Midiplus Up and works exclusively in combination with it. Each Up+ module offers eight additional channels, each equipped with a 100 mm motorized, touch-sensitive fader. Each channel also has a clickable rotary control and three dedicated buttons: Solo, Mute and Select.

Eight crystal-clear 1.3-inch color displays show channel information, names, levels and parameters for an optimal overview. The high-quality visual feedback helps to maintain an overview at all times, even in complex sessions.

A total of 32 RGB-illuminated silicone buttons enable quick interaction with the most important functions. Even without its own transport or navigation section, the Up+ module can be seamlessly integrated into the main system and controlled centrally via the Midiplus Up.

The connection to the main device is made via USB Type-A. An additional USB Type-C port enables the power supply, which is ensured via an external power supply unit (DC 12V/2.0A). As with the main module, the Up+ has an ergonomically extendable stand design with two adjustable tilt angles (8° and 0°), allowing the controller to be perfectly adapted to the respective studio environment.
