Novation ZeRo SL MKII Product Details
The ZeRo SL MKII is a complete controller for DAWs and plug-ins that is well-suited for the studio or stage use. A gigantic 144 sign display, lighted LED keys and endless control dials with LED coils show very fast and clearly arranged each status. The fast allocation of all 56 controls, faders and keys can be decided via Automap 3 – a pioneering software.
The controller can be mounted in a 19” rack or used as desktop controller and performance utensil. The quality of the ZeRo is not only reflected in the robust production, but also in the rich details that makes an optimal workflow possible. Through its lighted controllers the ZeRo offers optical status signals, so parameters can be identified immediately and reliable. Furthermore every parameter is included on the huge display, so one doesn’t have to learn every position of every parameter, the controllers are touch-sensitive and the display shows every name and value in the moment of touching the key. This and even more features allow a perfect overview over all functions and keys of the ZeRo.
At the bottom of the ability to allocate controllers with only on touch is the delivered Automap software. Automap 3 PRO is a software to allocate controllers easy and fast – no time-consuming scrolling through MIDI-Continuous-Controller-Numbers anymore! The graphic operations surface of Automap makes a fast overview over actual allocations possible. Here mappings can be stored and loaded to use them in other projects.
Furthermore the SL MK II was developed for a low power consumption via USB-Bus. Optionally a 9V DC power supply can be used. Besides the USB pin the ZeRo offers also 1 MIDI In, 1 MIDI Thru and 2 MIDI Outs.
