After 30 years in which the Export Series was the number 1 sold drum set, the Export Series is now known to every drummer. She has already launched thousands of drum careers, through her combination of quality and affordable price and the Export Series will continue to create legends. With great features like a hints-inspired shell design, the choice of awrapped finishes and Pearl's unbeatable 830 hardware series package, the export is ready to fire the new drum icons toignite.

The cue-inspired mixed bowls combine the classic sound of poplar wood with an inner layer of Asian Mahogany wood for powerful volume, deep resonance and sustained low frequencies. The export trays are 6 layered 7,5 mm Mahogany/Poplar bowls. Pearl's Export Series offers an advantageous recipe of strattigsch arranged layers of premium woods to match the frequency response of each of a single component. Like all Pearl Drums, each shell has been designed by the legendary SST (Superior Shell Technology) construction process, this one uses extreme heat, precision cut diagonal shocks, Pearl's own Acoustiglue and over 1000 pounds of hydraulic pressure to create the ultimate acoustic air chamber.

The Eport Rack Toms of the Export series feature Pearl's new Opti-Loc Mounting System, which offers a triangular design with its two tie rods fixing points and another through one of the two vent slots of the drum. Rubber insulators on all connection points allow the drums to vibrate freely so that maximum sustain and resonance are achieved, while at the same time enabling absolutely wobble-free performance.

Furthermore the new Lugs Pearl's "Sound first" philosophy is emphasized, these were especially developed for the Export Drumset with the focus on sound enhancement. They were developed for minimal shell interaction, so they have asmall footprint and low mass for maximum resonance and sustain. Her bold look is modern but with a touch ofof Pearl's Lugs from the past.
