Special tuning by Roland and V-MODA

The VMH-D1 is the result of the first collaboration between the Roland V-Drums team and V-MODA, a leading manufacturer of headphones for DJs and electronic musicians. Through many different stages of development, a special product was created that combines special 50mm drivers with selected materials and new mounting methods to accurately reproduce the intense transients, wide frequency range and rich harmonics of an electronic drum set. What's more, if you're playing on a V-Drums kit with Prismatic Sound Modeling, PureAcoustic Ambience, and the many other Roland sound technologies, the VMH-D1 will bring your kit to life in ways you've never heard before.

Immersive sound

The headphones are the link between your precious kit and your ears. Skimping here runs the risk of diminishing your own musical experience. The VMH-D1 rounds out your drumming experience and delivers a top-notch performance to match your high standards and ambitions. The special tuning surrounds you with an enormously powerful sound. You will experience your drum kit much more directly than with any standard headphones. Be inspired by the precise, powerful bass of the kick sounds, the warm, full midrange of the snare and toms and the smooth, extended treble range of the cymbals. Thanks to the wide soundstage, including extremely clean separation of individual instruments, you'll hear the subtle harmonics, cymbal decay, room tone, and ambience effects in three-dimensional resolution.

Advanced comfort

The VMH-D1 impresses with its padded headband and large memory foam ear cushions that provide maximum comfort even after several hours of wear. In addition to their comfortable fit, the ear pads provide excellent isolation from acoustic pad noise and other external noise. The soft and elegant leatherette cover absorbs moisture and prevents the headphones from slipping during sweaty sessions.

Play drums without twisting

Normal headphones always keep you on a short leash with their cable. In addition, the cable always feels like it's in the way. This leads to the headphones slipping or being ripped right off your head during intense playing. The extra-long cable of the VMH-D1 (3 m) can be easily connected to the module and does not get in the way of your arms and legs while playing. Plus, the headphones have a cable holder on the back that lets you run the cable behind your neck and place it securely on the floor behind the drum stool.
