Professional in-ear monitoring for stage and broadcast

The Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM-BW-X 626-698 MHz is designed for use with SR 2050 transmitters. As a beltpack receiver, it is ideal for professional in-ear monitoring setups that require stable wireless transmission and clear sound reproduction.

Thanks to its robust and reliable design, the receiver is suitable for daily use on stage and in broadcast environments. The all-metal housing ensures a durable construction, while the user-friendly menu navigation via the backlit graphic display provides a clear overview during operation.

Adaptive Diversity Technology for Reliable Reception

A key feature of the Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM-BW-X 626-698 MHz is adaptive diversity technology. This technology uses the earphone cable as a second antenna. This significantly reduces dropouts, which is a major advantage, especially during live performances.

The receiver is compatible with all in-ear monitors featuring a 3.5-mm jack. This allows for flexible integration into existing monitoring setups. The extended audio frequency response and crystal-clear sound provided by the HDX compander support a detailed monitoring experience.

Frequency Management and Operation

The Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM-BW-X 626-698 MHz operates in the BW frequency range from 626 to 698 MHz. A total of up to 3,000 frequencies are available across a switching bandwidth of up to 75 MHz. 20 fixed-frequency banks with up to 32 compatible presets, as well as 6 banks with up to 32 freely tunable channels, allow for flexible adaptation to different operating environments.

A scan function helps locate available reception channels. In addition, receiver parameters can be synchronized wirelessly from the transmitter. The adjustable pilot tone squelch in 2-dB increments ensures interference-free reception, while the Auto-Lock function prevents accidental changes to the settings.

Battery Operation, Display, and Practical Features

The Sennheiser EK 2000 IEM-BW-X 626-698 MHz features a 4-level battery status indicator. The battery life is specified as 4 to 6 hours. Two batteries are included; the battery voltage is 1.5 V, and the battery capacity is 2.3 Ah.

Additional practical features such as HiBoost, an adjustable limiter, Stereo/Focus Mode, and balance control on the receiver make this beltpack highly versatile. Charging contacts for charging the BA2015 are also included.
