Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone
Are you looking for a USB gaming microphone that delivers clear, consistent, and professional-sounding voice transmission during streaming, gaming, video calls, or voice chats—without having to deal with complicated setup? The Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone is a dynamic USB-C microphone designed for gamers, streamers, and content creators who want to get started right away while still achieving high-quality voice transmission.
The Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone was inspired by Shure’s renowned SM7 and MV7 microphones and combines a dynamic cardioid capsule with Voice Isolation Technology and intelligent digital audio processing. This keeps your voice front and center while reducing distracting background noise and automatically optimizing audio levels.
USB Gaming Microphone for Streaming, Chat, and Everyday Use
The Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone isn’t just designed for gaming sessions. It’s also ideal for livestreams, squad chat, video conferences, stand-ups, presentations, and everyday online communication. This makes it a versatile solution for anyone who wants to sound clear and intelligible on a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Connection is simple via USB-C. The microphone works with PC, Mac, iOS, and Android and can be configured using MOTIV apps. Settings can be saved and recalled on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. This ensures your sound remains consistent, even when you switch setups.
Dynamic capsule with Voice Isolation Technology
The Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone features a dynamic capsule with a cardioid polar pattern. This design is engineered to specifically capture the voice and focus on the speaker.
Voice Isolation Technology combines the focused polar pattern with digital signal processing. This is particularly helpful when keyboard noises, fans, room reverberations, or other background noise occur. The goal is clear, present, and stable voice transmission for gaming, streaming, and calls.
Intelligent digital audio processing
The Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone features intelligent digital audio processing with Auto Level Mode, Real-time Denoiser, Digital Popper Stopper™, 5-band EQ, and Smart Audio Presets. These features help process the voice directly within the microphone.
Auto Level Mode keeps the voice consistent even when the volume fluctuates. This is particularly useful during gaming, when switching between quiet announcements, normal conversations, callouts, and loud moments. Gain targets and response times can be adjusted.
Real-time Denoiser and Digital Popper Stopper™
The adjustable Real-time Denoiser helps control background noise. Depending on the desired sound, you can isolate the voice more effectively or maintain a more natural room sound. This allows the Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone to be adapted to different setups.
The Digital Popper Stopper™ reduces harsh plosive sounds without necessarily requiring a physical pop filter. This is particularly useful for a clean, uncluttered camera setup and clear voice recording with minimal effort.
Smart Audio Presets and 5-Band EQ
With the Smart Audio Presets on the Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone, you can quickly switch between Speech, Singing, and Instrument modes. These presets are tailored for different scenarios and make it easy to set up the right sound.
If you want to fine-tune the sound, use the 5-band EQ. This allows you to adjust the voice from clear and articulate to full and present. Alternatively, a Tone Slider is available that lets you choose between Dark, Natural, and Bright.
Tap-to-Mute for Quick Control
The Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone features a Tap-to-Mute function. With a single tap, you can mute the microphone instantly—without opening any software and without audible clicks in the signal.
This feature is especially handy when streaming, in online meetings, or during intense gaming sessions. You retain control over your microphone signal and can react quickly when you need to pause a conversation or recording.
Clean setup with desktop stand and USB-C cable
The Shure Motiv MV6 G2 USB Gaming Microphone comes as a complete setup. Included are the MV6 USB Gaming Microphone in black, a color-coordinated desktop stand with a 12 cm round base, and a 2 m USB-C-to-USB-C cable.
This allows you to quickly place the microphone on your desk and connect it right away. Its clear plug-and-play design makes it particularly appealing to users who want to get started without complicated wiring or additional hardware.
