NEW U-Turn Cajon 36 Mini Zebra Wood

U-Turn Cajon 36 Mini Zebra Wood

Are you looking for a compact cajon that’s especially well-suited for children, beginners, and music lessons? The U-Turn Cajon 36 Mini Zebra Wood combines a handy size with a responsive feel, a balanced tone, and an attractive zebra wood front.

Measuring 355 x 296 x 292 mm, this cajon is smaller than many classic models, making it a comfortable size for young musicians and anyone looking for an easy-to-play percussion instrument. At the same time, the combination of a zebrawood striking surface, a birch body, and the TRE01 snare system ensures a musically versatile sound.

Compact Cajon for Children and Beginners

The U-Turn Cajon 36 Mini Zebra Wood was developed specifically for young musicians, beginners, and players who prefer a compact cajon. Its portable design makes it ideal for music lessons, practicing at home, and first performances.

Despite its compact size, the cajon offers a well-balanced sound. Its design provides a comfortable playing height and makes it easy to learn basic cajon techniques. This makes the instrument well-suited for rhythmic exercises, simple grooves, and dynamic playing.

Zebra Wood Playing Surface and Birch Body

The striking surface of the U-Turn Cajon 36 Mini Zebra Wood is made of zebra wood. The attractive grain gives the cajon a natural and high-quality look. At the same time, the striking surface ensures a direct response with clear highs and precise accents.

The body is made of Betula, or birch. Combined with the multi-layered birch body, this creates a balanced sound with a powerful bass foundation—especially impressive for such a compact size. As a result, the cajon can be used for both simple accompaniments and lively rhythmic patterns.

TRE01 Snare System and Construction

For the snare sound, the U-Turn Cajon 36 Mini Zebra Wood is equipped with the TRE01 snare system, which uses guitar strings. This system works in conjunction with a reinforced resonance chamber to produce a focused, responsive snare sound.

The cajon responds even to light strikes, making it well-suited for dynamic playing and fast rhythms. The material thicknesses are specified as 2.8 mm for the front panel, 12 mm for the side panel, and 7 mm for the back panel. This construction supports sound transmission and ensures the instrument’s sturdy build.

Purchase Recommendation

The U-Turn Cajon 36 Mini Zebra Wood is a great choice for children, beginners, and music students looking for a compact and easy-to-play cajon. In particular, the combination of its small size, zebra wood front, birch body, and TRE01 snare system makes it a versatile instrument for lessons and practice.
