U-Turn Cajon 49 Premium Ziricote with Side Sound Hole

Are you looking for a high-quality cajon with an elegant wood finish, direct sound response, and a balanced tone for the stage, studio, lessons, or acoustic sessions? The U-Turn Cajon 49 Premium Ziricote with side soundhole combines an elegant ziricote finish with a compact design, sturdy construction, and a side-mounted soundhole.

With dimensions of 485 x 298 x 292 mm, this cajon is suitable for a variety of applications. It’s compact enough for easy transport while offering a comfortable size for playing. The distinctive ziricote wood finish with its unique grain gives the instrument an exclusive character and makes each cajon a one-of-a-kind piece.

Elegant Ziricote finish and compact design

The U-Turn Cajon 49 Premium Ziricote with a side sound hole is designed as a premium cajon with an expressive wood finish. The elegant ziricote finish creates a natural and high-quality appearance. This makes the instrument particularly appealing whether in the music room, on stage, or in the studio.

The sturdy wooden body produces a balanced sound with rich bass frequencies and a clearly defined snare response. The finely tuned playing surface reacts sensitively to different playing techniques and allows for both powerful grooves and dynamic percussion passages.

Side Soundhole for Direct Sound Perception

A distinctive feature of the U-Turn Cajon 49 Premium Ziricote with a side soundhole is the soundhole integrated into the side of the instrument. Compared to classic cajons with a rear sound hole, the sound is directed more directly toward the player. This allows for more precise perception and control of bass and snare sounds while playing.

At the same time, the powerful sound projection for the audience is maintained. Especially during longer sessions, in lessons, or during live performances, this design can support a comfortable and natural playing experience. The side soundhole makes the cajon particularly appealing to players who want to hear their sound directly and with control.

Sound, Construction, and Playing Feel

The U-Turn Cajon 49 Premium Ziricote with a side soundhole offers powerful bass and precise snare response. The responsive playing surface supports dynamic playing and reliably responds to varying strike intensities. This makes the cajon suitable for beginners, advanced musicians, and professional percussionists.

The drum body is made of solid poplar wood. According to the specifications, the front panel is made of persimmon wood. The material thicknesses are clearly specified: the front panel is 2.8 mm thick, the side panel is 12 mm thick, and the back panel is 7 mm thick. The playing surface is described as “Comfortable Feel” and ensures a pleasant playing experience.

The BAS01 system with snare strings is used to produce the snare sound. This creates defined snare accents that, together with the bass foundation, result in a balanced sound. Whether in the rehearsal room, on stage, in the studio, or in music class—this cajon is incredibly versatile.

Purchase Recommendation

The U-Turn Cajon 49 Premium Ziricote with a side soundhole is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a compact, premium cajon with an elegant appearance, direct sound response, and sturdy construction.
