NEW U-Turn Cajon 50 Premium Spalted Maple mit seidlichem Schallloch

U-Turn Cajon 50 Premium Spalted Maple with a side sound hole

Are you looking for a cajon with a full sound, powerful bass resonance, and a particularly striking appearance? The U-Turn Cajon 50 Premium Spalted Maple with side soundhole combines generous dimensions, a side soundhole, and a BAS01 snare system with a high-quality spalted maple finish.

Measuring 500 x 330 x 320 mm, this cajon features a larger design and is ideal for discerning percussionists seeking a warm, balanced tone and direct response. The striking spalted maple front gives the instrument a unique look, with each cajon possessing its own individual character thanks to the grain pattern.

Premium Cajon with Spalted Maple Finish

The U-Turn Cajon 50 Premium Spalted Maple, featuring a side-mounted sound hole, stands out thanks to its unique front design. The spalted maple finish creates a natural, vibrant, and high-quality appearance. As a result, the cajon is not only a percussion instrument but also a visually striking element on stage, in the studio, or in the rehearsal room.

The enlarged and reinforced construction supports excellent bass resonance. This results in a rich and warm tonal character suitable for many musical genres. Whether pop, rock, folk, or Latin—the cajon offers a versatile foundation for acoustic grooves and rhythmic accompaniment.

Side Hole and BAS01 Snare System

An important feature of the U-Turn Cajon 50 Premium Spalted Maple with a side soundhole is the soundhole on the side. This promotes direct and focused sound projection and contributes to an intense playing experience. This design can make the sound more prominent, especially during acoustic sessions, lessons, or live performances.

The BAS01 snare system with snare wires ensures a responsive touch and precise, pleasantly soft snare accents. Combined with the powerful bass resonance, this creates a balanced sound that appeals to both beginners and experienced musicians.

Construction and Playing Feel

The body of the U-Turn Cajon 50 Premium Spalted Maple with a side-mounted sound hole is made of solid poplar wood. The material thicknesses are clearly specified: the front is 2.8 mm thick, the sides are 14 mm thick, and the back is also 14 mm thick. This construction forms the basis for the reinforced design and the full sound.

The playing surface is described as “Firm Feel,” giving the cajon a well-defined playing feel. The combination of its large size, powerful bass, precise snare response, and side-mounted soundhole makes the instrument highly versatile.

Purchase Recommendation

The U-Turn Cajon 50 Premium Spalted Maple with a side soundhole is a great choice for anyone looking for a larger cajon with a high-quality appearance and balanced sound. In particular, the spalted maple front, the side soundhole, and the BAS01 snare system make this model ideal for the stage, studio, rehearsal room, and music lessons.

If you’re looking for a cajon with powerful bass resonance, a soft snare response, and a distinctive premium look, the U-Turn Cajon 50 Premium Spalted Maple with a side sound hole offers a compelling combination of sound quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional design.
