Crazy Tube Circuits Ziggy V2 Overdrive

The Ziggy V2 by Crazy Tube Circuits is a British Style Dual Overdrive/Distortion with discrete MOSFET amplification stages. Like tube amplifiers, they react with extreme sensitivity, so that all nuances of the sound can be controlled via the guitar's volume control. A low-noise relay bypass circuit selects between 2 separate overdrive/distortion channels - low and high gain - each with its own controls for ultimate versatility. The gain controls on both channels simultaneously serve as voicing controls that add more bass when turned clockwise and deliver from sparkling clean to the thickest crunch. While the tone controls act like a presence control that adds extra bite to the tone. An internal circuit provides 18 Volt DC from a standard 9 Volt DC power supply to ensure maximum headroom and tube-like response.

While many manufacturers concentrate on clones of popular pedals, all Crazy Tube Circuits products are completely developed in-house by the Greek effects manufacturer. All pedals are made in Athens lovingly by hand, have True Bypass and are very high quality workmanship.
