Crown XLS 1000 B-Ware

The latest generation of extremely light, digital power amplifiers from Crown XLS models includes the 1000, 1500, 2000 and 2500. The services range from 2x 350 watts to 775 watts or 2 x 1100 watts mono bridged by up to 2400 watts at 4 ohms.

The newly developed digital Class-D amplifiers convince by accurate sound, high performance and a record-breaking weight of only 3.9 and 4.9 kg.

The revolutionary circuit design drive the core Crown XLS series recycles the energy of the swinging speaker and thus providing maximum efficiency with minimum power consumption. Especially subwoofer applications will benefit from this.

The list of equipment include the Pure Volume system with variable crossover 24 dB Linkwitz-Riley filters that can be dial 50-3000 Hz. This will guarantee a very homogeneous transitions in the crossover region.

The modern XMAX limiters for each channel is individually adjustable. It provides optimum protection for the amplifier itself and the connected speakers. Peak levels are precisely limited and avoided dangerous peaks.

The various operating modes such as top / top, top / Sub or Sub / Sub also allow the use of intelligent controllers as power amp for bi-amp applications. The number of rear-panel connectors include XLR, TRS and RCA inputs as well as for the 2x Speakon and binding posts for outputs.

The modern design with LCD display and aluminum front panel, and an unbeatable price-performance ratio are other features of the latest generation of XLS.
