The DR LO-RIDER Bass Medium strings are suitable for a 4-string electric bass and are made of stainless steel with a hexagonal string core. The hexagonal core provides more depth in tone and results in a stiffer string than e.g. DR Hi-Beams. This makes them perfect for slapping, plucking, and tapping.
