Eminence speaker frequency response curves are the average of multiple units measured at a nominal impedance of 1 W/1 m (e.g. 2.83 V/8Ω, 4 V/16Ω, etc.). All speakers were measured in a temperature controlled environment using the monthly calibrated LMS software. The supplied 0.25" microphone was mounted on axis at 1 m from the baffle. The baffle is flush with the anechoic wall and the speaker is mounted on the back against a thin steel ring to minimize diffraction. Measurements were taken with a Yamaha P3500S amplifier, calibrated monthly, and a 2700 cubic foot anechoic chamber with custom fiberglass surface treatment. Measurements below 200 Hz are tail-corrected to compensate for the volume of the chamber. Compression drivers were measured with a 2ft x 2ft baffle flush with the anechoic chamber wall and the horn was mounted in the front.
