The 200 series from ESP Ltd has always stood for affordable mid-range instruments that can be used on stage and in the recording studio right out of the box. And this is exactly the category the B-204 bass falls into with its active electronics (including 3-band tone control with cut and boost of the individual frequency bands) and the beautiful body made of thermo-treated and heavily grained ash wood, which gets a subtle antique finish through the See Through Black Satin lacquer. This is further enhanced by the Black Nickel hardware and shimmering Mother of Pearl fretboard inlays.
