The Fender American Performer Tele MN Penny is a completely self-contained instrument with a transparent sound. Proved by a well playable maple neck with modern C-profile and two Yosemite single coils in neck and bridge position developed for the American Performer series. These call up the classic tele-sound image from the coveted 'twang' to penetrating leads and suppress unwanted microphones thanks to shellac coil coating. Through the Greasebucket Tone Circuit, high frequencies are unwound without adding bass to the overall signal.
