Fender Custom Shop LTD 2018 NAMM 1950 Double Esquire Journeyman Relic 2TSB Product Details
The year 1950 is inextricably linked with the world-famous Fender Broadcaster and Nocaster series, which are the direct precursors to the Telecaster models produced since 1951/52, The name change itself results from a legal dispute with Gretsch (who produced "Broadkaster" drumsets at that time). For this reason, the "Broadcaster" logo of Fenders were removed - a follow-up name had not yet been determined in 1950/51. These guitars without type designation are today known as "Nocaster".
