This Mustang bass is equipped with the classic Fender Shortscale 30" scale. Ideal for beginners, students, and musicians with petite hands, it allows them to play comfortably across the entire length of the fingerboard. A dream for bassists looking for tonal variety: The PJ combination features a powerful Precision Bass® split single-coil (center) and a growly Jazz Bass® bridge pickup working together. By "profile" we mean the shape of the cross-section. On this model, the neck is crafted in a slim, modern C profile. It plays very comfortably and carries a 9.5" fingerboard with medium jumbo frets.

The pickups on this Mustang bass can be controlled and combined with the 3-way switch: Bridge pickup solo, Bridge and neck together or neck pickup solo. The hardtail bridge with four string riders supports tuning stability, accurate intonation and long sustain. Classic design element: on this Mustang Bass, we engraved the Fender "F" logo into the neck plate.
