FliteCAD Standard Edition für Windows deutsch
FliteCAD is a complete software package aiding you in the construction and calculation of cases built with aluminum extrusions.
Construction Types
The following construction types are supported: Lid/basemakers/casemakers, lid/basemakers/angles, casemakers and angle extrusions.
Standard Cases and Custom Cases
FliteCAD features the fully automated calculation of a total of seven standard case types: Normal, Briefcase, Single Door, Double Door, Hood Case, L-Shape-Lid Case and Open Rack. In addition, customized construction lists allow you to calculate any other case type („Custom Cases" - not available inside the demo version).
Automatic calculation: cut dimensions, weight, construction time, sales price
Parts list, cut dimensions, weight of the case, estimated construction time and sales price are calculated in a split second. All calculation basics - e.g. labor costs or profit margin - can be customized to meet your specific requirements.
Prices up-to-date
The material prices used to compute the case's sales price are always taken from the current database. This means that changes in the purchase prices for certain materials will have immediate effect on all stored cases that include those materials. An import function allows automated imports of updated material purchase prices. Furthermore, you can perform percentage price changes to materials and cases inside the database in a single step.
Case Drawing and Case Photography
For each case, FliteCAD creates a case drawing to scale. You can furnish this drawing with graphic symbols for ball corners, handles, catches, etc. The case drawing can easily be included in printed quotes and invoices afterwards. Moreover, you can save a photography for each case, which can be integrated into quotes and invoices as well.
New Features in Version 2.0
· Support for seven standard case types: Normal, Briefcase, Single Door, Double Door, Hood Case (new), L-Shape-Lid Case (new) and Open Rack (new).
· Support for four construction types: Lid/basemakers/casemakers, lid/basemakers/angles (new), casemakers and angle extrusions.
· Custom Cases (new): Custom Cases allow to perform automatic price and construction time calculations even for the most exotic case constructions, which are not directly supported by FliteCAD.
· Import of Material Price Lists (new): Material price lists can be directly imported to FliteCAD's materials database.
· Automated Price Changes (new): All stored prices for materials and cases can be changed in a single step (e.g. perform a percentage price increase of 5 %).
· Photography (new): For each case, a custom photography can be stored in the database. The photo can also be included in printed quotes and invoices.
· Support for Microsoft Word (new): Creating and printing quotations, invoices, etc. is done via Microsoft Word (version 97 and up).
· US measure system (new): FliteCAD now supports both the metric (meters) and the US measure system (inches).
· Case Favorites (new): Cases and case types you need most often can be stored as Case Favorites which allow a very quick and easy access with a single mouse click.
· User-defined case drawing (new): The case drawing created by FliteCAD can now be exported as a bitmap file. In addition, you can import any user-defined custom drawing which can be furnished with graphic symbols for fittings (corners, catches, etc.). This user-defined drawing replaces the default drawing and can as well be included in printed quotes and invoices.
· Fixed sales prices for cases (new): Cases can now have a fixed sales price.
· Detailed case description (new): In addition to the case notes, you can enter a detailed (multi-line) description for each case which will be included in accounting documents (quotes, invoices, etc.).
· Saving the construction list (new): Customized construction lists can now be permanently saved to the database, e.g. for custom construction types or cut dimensions (see Custom Cases above).
· Extended construction list items (new): Every item inside the construction list can now have individual notes and information on the psotion/location of the fitting (top, bottom, right, left, etc.).
· Improved construction list views (new): The construction list now supports multiple views with different groupings. You can group the items by construction group, material or cut dimension. When grouping by material, the list displays totals for the (net) material amounts (total amount of meters/feet for extrusions, total amount of square meters/square feet for wood and padding). Furthermore, you can have the list merge materials sharing the same cut dimension.
· Case Explorer (new): Conveniently search for cases and organize the case inside the database. An auto-preview feature shows details about the case (including detailed description, photography, internal dimensions) before actually opening the case record.
· Case Categories (new): You can organize and group your cases in categories. The categories can be combined and nested (i.e. allowing to create sub-categories). This comes in handy if you want to reorder your cases by their types or by customers.
· Case Quick Search (new): The Case Explorer (see above) features the new Quick Search which assists you in quickly locating a case by ist description or article number.
· Enable/disable materials (new): Each material inside the database can be temporarily „locked", e.g. if it is currently out of stock. A warning message appears when you open a case that includes a disabled material.
· Search for material in cases (new): This lets you quickly find out which cases currently include a specific material.
· Improved accounting (new): Quotations, invoices, etc. can now contain any number of different cases. Each order item can have an individual sales price and discount rate. The conversion of accounting documents, e.g. converting a quotation to an invoice, has been further improved.
· Printing of address lists (new): Generated address lists can be printed now.
· Backup and Restore Wizard (new): An integrated data backup feature has been added, including an automatic reminder.
