Based on the original classic 1960 Hofner Verythin guitar shape, the body has a depth of only 1.25 inches. The Hofner Verythin was very popular with many bands during the beat boom era of the 1960s. Not only does it capture the unique sound of the 60s, but it is also capable of producing tones that range from deep, powerful blues to cuttingly distorted rock. Hofner achieves this by incorporating a center block into the body for more sustain, deeper tones and less feedback. The CT model now features striped position markers on the neck, just like Hofner's original 1960s model. With a Hofner Verythin CT, you're sure to stand out from the crowd. It is truly a versatile guitar at a very affordable price.
