Tremolo-tuned harmonicas are mainly used in folk music. They are recognizable by the transverse division of the individual air channels. By the division, each channel gets two simultaneously sounding tones, each in blowing or drawing. This Tuning with two - in fact identical - Tones, with small differences in vibration, is called "Tremolo"-Tuning. The thereby resulting sound is bright and vibrant. There Tremolo harps in 4 different sizes. With wooden comb. Playable by both sides, i.e. e.g. on one side C-Major and on the other G major. The opposing keys are arranged in a fifth apart.
