Ibanez presents with the SR305-MGB a first-class, 5-string electric bass.

The extra-wide string slots of the installed Accu-Cast B120 bridge can accommodate even the heaviest string gauges. The walls and channels of the new bridge plate effectively catch the saddles and ensure perfect directional uniformity. Ibanez's proprietary PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups, with their exposed pole pieces, produce a stronger signal and increase the response of the higher frequencies without compromising the lower frequencies. The result is a tone rich in harmonic detail and dynamic expression. The built-in 3-band EQ works in conjunction with a coil tap switch for maximum control over a variety of professional bass sounds. Tap mode (single coil) produces a punchy, dynamic sound with excellent articulation. Series mode (humbucker) delivers a full, warm tone, and Power Tap mode offers the best of both worlds - combining the clarity of the single coil with the fat bass of the humbucker.
