The stylishly contoured poplar body and Jackson's signature full-length neck provide ergonomic comfort for long playing sessions, as well as monstrous sustain and smooth playing all the way to the 24th fret. Graphite reinforcement rods run through the maple neck to protect it from the elements, while the bound, ultra-fast 304.8 mm - 406.4 mm compound radius laurel fingerboard makes for easy chord and phrase playing near the nut and fast solos and bends without fretting out near the body. Furthermore, it is equipped with an exquisite power trio of Duncan Designed™ pickups - powerful HR-101 Hot Rails single-coil pickups in the middle and neck positions are combined with a powerful HB-103B humbucker bridge pickup for complementary overtones and highly dynamic response. Five-way pickup switching and individual volume and tone controls let you take full advantage of the sonic performance of these pickups. The recessed Floyd Rose® Special vibrato bridge with double-locking is easy to operate and ensures that the guitar returns precisely to its original tuning after each use of the vibrato lever.
