The ergonomic poplar body encloses a full-length maple neck, which is reinforced with graphite rods and ends in the typical scarf joint headstock that slants backwards. There are 24 jumbo frets on the bound laurel fingerboard with a 12"-16" compound radius. It's nicely rounded at the nut so you can comfortably wrap around it and pick up chords, while it flattens out towards the neck foot - perfect for fast solos and powerful bending at low string action.

Active Jackson high-output humbuckers give this metal monster a powerful voice; expressive, with a crunchy, biting character. Perfect for banging leads and driving rhythms. You can vary the sound with the 3-way blade switch and the individual volume and tone controls. The Floyd Rose Special Double Locking Tremolo enables cleanly dosed, dynamic effects with unshakeable tuning stability.

The fighting spirit of the X Series Soloist SLX DX Camo can also be seen in its finish: It is available in either Butterscotch Camo or Winter Camo, each with a matching pointed camo headstock and black hardware.
