With modern style, flexible tone and unparalleled value, the Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV takes the adventurous player on a bold bass odyssey and represents an impressive new addition to Jackson's formidable neck-through-body bass lineup.

The offset Spectra bass body was innovatively designed with the gigging musician in mind. Its Nyatoh body has a larger upper horn that distributes weight evenly throughout the instrument for perfect balance and playing comfort. The graphite-reinforced, full-length maple neck with scarf joint provides impressive sustain, with a fast neck contour, a bay fingerboard with 12"-16" compound radius and 24 jumbo frets for excellent playability.

The SBX IV offers a full spectrum of tone for the most versatile and progressive bassist. Two medium output passive humbucking pickups provide a dynamic foundation with punch, power and note articulation. A two-way toggle switch to split the pickup coils, active 3-band EQ, blend control, and volume control with push/pull selector to bypass or activate the active circuit for 3-band EQ provide a full spectrum of tone. The push/pull selector switch prevents sound from being lost due to a dead battery. A quick pull of the volume knob bypasses the active circuit and makes it easy to restore the sound of the bass without battery power.

This four-string bass also features a HiMass™ hardtail bridge that enhances sustain and attack.
