The Basswitch Dual Band Compressor is a product of the cooperation of Lehle and RPI, both absolute specialists in the field of effect pedals. The input signal is split and both frequency ranges are compressed independently. This preserves the dynamic sound of the bass and you still benefit from the compression, e.g. to compensate for frequency peaks or large dynamic differences (e.g. when slapping). The robust metal housing is of high quality and the recessed mounted regulators prevent accidental adjustment.
