NUX NBP-5 Melvin Lee Davis Bass Preamp Product Details
The NUX NBP-5 Bass Preamp is the signature model of studio bassist, producer and composer Melvin Lee Davis. The unit is a compact bass preamp with 3 band EQ (with semi-parametric mids), overdrive, fadeable direct signal and internal noise gate. To perform these functions excellently, a symmetrical DI box is built in, where IR speaker simulations can be switched to the output (4 presets and 4 user memories for third-party IRs). 2 amp simulations are currently available and more amps are in preparation and can be loaded via USB. The NBP-5 can be programmed or used for recording via the NUX DI software editor. The USB port allows firmware updates as well as music streaming. Different output routings are switchable, also reamping is possible.
