Trondheim Audio Devices SkarBassOne Bass Preamp Product Details
Great Sound Made Easy
Developed in Norway, the SkarBassOne from Trondheim Audio Devices is a complete effects pedal (compressor and overdrive) for bass guitar. The pedal is designed so that it can be connected directly to an amplifier, an interface or a DI box.
The pedal is 100% analog and offers everything you need for a professional bass sound when practicing, live and in the studio! SkarBassOne has a lightning-fast FET compressor with an associated compression LED to indicate the gain reduction. In addition, the pedal has a switchable multiband overdrive with a clean low-end, which guarantees a fat and assertive overdrive sound. The midrange filter is precise and reduces frequencies that are masked by other instruments. Now you can finally play loud without disturbing the rest of the band!
The pedal's multiband drive can be activated/deactivated using the footswitch. This allows you to switch from a mild distortion to a heavy overdrive which, unlike conventional overdrives, does not attack the low fundamental frequencies of the signal.
