Technical details of the Palmer MONICON L G2
The Palmer MONICON L G2 active / passive studio monitor controller offers a total of three inputs: two balanced line inputs via XLR/TRS combo sockets and an unbalanced AUX input (3.5 mm jack and RCA) for mobile or digital devices. A Bluetooth input is also available for wireless integration of music sources into the monitoring system.
On the output side, the controller impresses with two stereo outputs and a mono output - all balanced via XLR. This makes it easy to control multiple speaker systems such as nearfield monitors, main speakers or subwoofers. Signal switching is conveniently carried out via illuminated switches with LED status display.
A major highlight is the latency-free analog audio signal path. This ensures absolutely unadulterated and time-accurate sound reproduction - a must for any professional monitoring system. The large volume control enables precise level control, supported by separate buttons for MONO, DIM, MUTE and PFL function. The latter allows isolated pre-listening of input signals without affecting the main mix.
A separate headphone output with its own volume control rounds off the flexible monitoring solution. The integrated power supply powers Bluetooth, the headphone amplifier and the third output without affecting the pure analog signal path.
