Based on PRS's proven feel and craftsmanship, the S2 Vela is perfect for players who want to combine quality and reliability with a new aesthetic. The Vela marks the first time PRS has ventured into an offset body shape that is both elegant and edgy. Equipped with a PRS-designed DS-01 humbucker in the treble position and Type-D single coil in the bass position, the Vela has a bright, punchy tone that sounds great when fed into a pedalboard or directly into an amp. A coil tap on the Tone knob allows you to split the DS-01 pickup into singlecoils and discover a whole new range of tones. The PRS Plate-style bridge carries two brass saddles specifically designed for great sustain and perfect intonation, so both rhythm and lead sounds will sound great no matter where you are on the fretboard.
