With the KS212C subwoofer, QSC presents the world's first active single cabinet cardioid subwoofer in this class. The subwoofer can be used for a mobile sound system as well as for fixed installations.

Thanks to its groundbreaking technology and design, the 3600-watt KS212C is the only one to offer all the benefits of kidney-shaped radiation in a single, compact package. "Keeping bass in its place" - The KS212C subwoofer keeps the bass where it belongs. For entertainers, AV professionals and rental companies, but also in smaller event rooms, it is the ideal solution when it comes to controlling the radiation of low frequencies on stage and minimizing unwanted bass components.

With its 3600 Watt Class D power amplifier, the latest DSP technology and two long-stroke 12-inch drivers, each in a 6th-order bandpass chamber, it easily delivers an impressive 15 dB more output at the front than at the rear. The comfortable carrying case is equipped with ergonomic aluminium handles and four castors on the back. Two M20 threaded flanges accommodate a 35mm speaker rod in the horizontal or vertical position of the subwoofer.

In most subwoofers, the sound energy is radiated evenly in all directions. This leads to unwanted bass on stage as well as energy losses on the sides and back of the system. The KS212C leaves the bass where it belongs. The single cabinet cardioid subwoofer easily delivers an impressive 15 dB more output at the front than at the rear.
