RME M-32 AD - 32-channel high-end AD converter for studio, broadcast and stage

The RME M-32 AD is a professional 32-channel analog-to-digital converter for demanding studio, broadcast and live production applications. The device combines high-quality converter technology with extensive connectivity via MADI and ADAT as well as powerful features such as analog limiters, SteadyClock™ technology and comprehensive remote control via MIDI.

With its compact 2U rack-mount housing, fully balanced analog design and a dynamic range of up to 116 dBA, the M-32 AD offers reference quality for professional audio applications.

32-channel AD conversion in reference quality

The M-32 AD uses high-quality analog circuits from RME's reference design (known from the ADI-8 QS) and offers excellent noise and distortion values. Three hardware reference levels up to +24 dBu allow optimal adaptation to different studio environments.

The integrated analog limiters can compensate for input clipping of up to 17 dB without audible distortion, allowing a maximum input level of up to +30 dBu.

Flexible digital connectivity

The converter has MADI and ADAT interfaces and supports sample rates of up to 192 kHz. Up to 32 channels can be transferred to studio environments via four ADAT outputs. The MADI connection enables easy integration into professional audio networks.

SteadyClock™ and SyncCheck™ technology

RME's SteadyClock™ ensures extremely low jitter and stable clock synchronization even with low-quality external clock signals. The integrated SyncCheck™ technology displays the current synchronization status and facilitates troubleshooting in complex audio systems.

Completely remote controllable

All functions of the M-32 AD can be fully controlled via MIDI - including parameters, settings and status displays. Thanks to MIDI-over-MADI, multiple devices can be conveniently controlled via a single connection.
