The sound of the Roland SH-5 is fed into your modular rig. The Roland SH-5 is one of the most popular monosynths in history. His double architecture was deep and sounded massive. He also had one of the most important filters of all monosyntheses in history. By combining a multimode filter with a bandpass filter, a sound was created that has made it the "favorite filter of all time" for many people. Unlike the traditional ladder filter design, the SH-5 has retained its bass response with a fleshy resonance growl. With the SYS-505 Roland and Malekko have brought this coveted filter in all its splendour to the Eurorack format. With switchable outputs, built-in VCAs and CV control of cutoff, resonance, this dual filter offers you two different vintage filter characters in a flexible and compact 16 hp module.
