Soundcraft Si Impact Product Details

The Si Impact is a digital mixing console for live sound and recording. Bands and musicians can make live recordings of their concerts and record demos in the rehearsal room.

The operating concept of the Si Impact is designed like an analog mixing console. With its powerful DSP, motor faders and USB interface, however, it offers all the advantages of digital technology.

Lexicon effects, dbx dynamic processing and graphic equalizers from BSS enable studio-quality sound processing. With the built-in 32-channel USB interface, multi-track recordings can be made on the computer.

Unique is Soundcraft's Fader-Glow concept. The individual fader paths are illuminated in different colors depending on the mode. The improved clarity helps to avoid mixing errors. There is an iPad app for controlling and checking all important mixer functions. The Si Impact app is available from the Apple App Store.

The RJ45 connection for a stagebox is installed in the same way. To connect the Si Impact to one of the many Soundcraft stage boxes, a Cat cable is sufficient (see specifications). In addition, the mixing console has an additional slot that fits every expansion card for the Si mixing consoles.
