With Takamine's compact but big-sounding NEX body, solid top construction, elegant features and an improved electronics system, the GN71CE is a slim and stylish acoustic/e-guitar that's all about looks and sound quality. The GD71CE offers everything you need to get on stage and look good, with a solid spruce top and black walnut back and sides for a rich, detailed sound. The slim mahogany neck and 12" radius-bound laurel fingerboard provide a great feel and playability, while the integrated Takamine TK-40D preamp system features a built-in tuner, three-band EQ and gain controls, center contour switch, notch filter and EQ bypass switch for ultimate versatility and sound quality. Other great features include maple body, neck and headstock binding, split bridge saddle, laurel cap, abalone rosette, maple dot inlays, die-cast gold tuner with amber buttons and a beautiful shiny finish.
