Mixcast 4 makes professional content creation easy. Whether producing podcasts, live streaming, event production or dubbing, Mixcast 4 can mix and record incoming material with other sounds via microphones. This includes background music, effect sounds and jingles stored internally and fed through its trigger pads, or external audio from your phone, PC or Bluetooth device. Together with the Tascam Podcast Editor software, you get a complete package including waveform editing and multitrack recording for all steps from pre-production to completion.

Equipped with four microphone inputs and four separate headphone outputs, the Mixcast 4 is ready for podcast production at any time - and without any complicated settings. It enables all the audio operations and workflows required for live streaming, events, podcasts and other applications. For example, for a perfect mix, the Auto Mixer feature can automatically set levels to optimal values and prioritize microphones. And thanks to the 12.7 cm colour touchscreen, you can intuitively access the well-structured menu and make the desired settings in just a few steps.

From audio recording to mixing previously recorded audio, the Mixcast 4 offers a complete production environment with many handy features such as 14-track recording to SD card, Bluetooth audio input and an aux input for easy mixing and recording of phone calls (with mix-minus) or other sound sources. You can also add audio from a computer via an easy-to-establish USB connection. Or simply use Mixcast 4 as a USB audio interface with your favorite DAW software.

Spice up your content with real-time sound effects:

The Mixcast 4 includes eight banks of fully customizable, illuminated sound pads that let you inject sound events during a podcast production or live broadcast. In addition to preset sound effects, you can flexibly assign new sounds, music, or even recordings that you've pre-recorded on the device via microphone. The Mixcast 4's sound pads also allow for easy and time-accurate voice effects such as pitch transformation, reverb, and others to make live streams and recordings more interesting and fun.

Tascam Podcast Editor for post-production and control:

The convenient and easy-to-use Tascam Podcast Editor lets you edit audio content, arm tracks, and assign and configure sound effects and background music to the sound pads. Expert knowledge of DAW software is not required, as the Podcast Editor with its intuitive graphics allows any user to easily record audio using the Mixcast 4. Tascam Podcast Editor is designed specifically for Mixcast 4 and is available for both computers and mobile devices.
