Twisted Electrons Crazy8 Beats

The Crazy8 Beats by Twisted Electrons is a hybrid digital (MIDI) and analog (Trigger/CV) desktop step sequencer. Alternatively, it can also be installed as a 40 TE module in a Eurorack system. It has 8 MIDI tracks that can be routed to 2 outputs. There are 16 patterns per track, which can be fed via real-time recording in addition to step input - the patterns can be switched per track or globally. For connection to the analog and modular outside world, there are ample connection options such as 8 trigger outputs, variable Accent/CV-Out and CV outputs per step available. For creative and modern beat design there is one of 4 individual playmodes per track (forward, backward, ping pong, random) as well as the possibility to use different lengths, rates and directions e.g. for polyrhythms. Up to 16 patterns can be linked together to create a song. The synchronization can be done via MIDI clock or trigger input, whereby Crazy8 Beats can run as master or slave.
