The P-525 is the top model in Yamaha's world-renowned P-series of compact digital pianos, offering authentic playing feel, exquisite sound, and further enhanced instrument sounds. The piano sounds are two world-class concert grand pianos: those of the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial. Speaker performance and the variety and quality of sounds, including organs and electric pianos, have been significantly improved over the previous P-515 model.

The NWX wooden keyboard, highly praised for its feel, has been replaced by the 88-key GrandTouch-S™ keyboard. This brings the playing experience even closer to the touch and feel of a grand piano. With the Registration Memory function for saving and recalling settings and other helpful and practical features for live performances, the P-525 is also ideally suited for use as a stage piano.
