Pure CF Sampling provides excellent sound quality
Yamaha's engineers have recorded our best CFIIIS grand piano with our unique "Pure CF Sampling" method in all its sonic detail. The result is an excellent and very natural sound that you can enjoy with the P-155.
4-level AWM Dynamic Stereo Sampling
Yamaha's "Advanced Wave Memory" system (AWM) tone generation system is based on digital samples to come to the sound of an acoustic musical instrument as close as possible. The sound of a piano, for example, depends on the button with what strength or speed of a button - from pianissimo to fortissimo. The AWM Dynamic Stereo Sampling method takes into account these dynamic nuances by recording samples of various playing strengths. The higher the number of samples recorded in this way, the more expressive you can play the piano voice based on it.
Key-Off samples, Stereo Sustain samples and Damper Resonance
If you listen when playing on an acoustic piano, sometimes quite closely, you'll notice that the sound is slightly more complex than a simple "sound on - sound off". Yamaha has given to these small details for the P-155 a lot of attention. To find on closer listening the sound of the felt damper coming after you release a key on a vibrating string at rest (key-off sample), and the resonance of open strings when playing with sustain pedal (stereo- Sustain samples and Damper Resonance).
128-note polyphony (maximum)
Most digital pianos go pretty fast, "from the air" when you fast, dense legato passages - play - so many different sounds at once. The unpleasant effect: Already sounding tones to be stopped in order to reflect new to played. The P-155 has a longer breath can be played simultaneously up to 128 tones.
Graded Hammer keyboard (GH)
Just like an acoustic grand piano feel with our Graded Hammer keyboard keys harder than the low key to high - with all the subtle gradations in between.
Direct playback from USB storage media
Simply plug in a USB storage device on the P-155, can be able to play your favorite songs in standard MIDI format - randomly or in a specific order.
USB-to-device connection
You can use the device to the USB-to-port USB device plugged in also, to save your own settings and devices at the P-155 User songs recorded or load.
Built-in stereo speaker system
The P-155 uses highly efficient amplifiers that allow us to get more sound out of a lighter digital piano. With 6 watts per channel, the P-155 always there, wherever you want to play well with it.
50 Preset Piano Songs
We have programmed the P-155, a total of 50 different piano songs. The selection of songs based on beauty and functionality, and demonstrate not only what the P-155 is capable of - you can simply sit back and enjoy the music. Since most of the songs are classic piano pieces, they can also be especially piano students as a model of benefit.
