With two fully balanced analog outputs for connecting speakers, you can monitor and mix your material with maximum plasticity and depth. And for your headphones, a zero-ohm headphone output is available for custom headphone mixing.

Pristine preamps

One of the most important components of high-quality recording is your preamp - and the preamps in the Apogee Duet are world-class. With up to 60 dB of gain and 48 V phantom power, you can pick up any audio source with absolute cleanliness and precision, even with the most sensitive microphones. Careful engineering at Apogee minimizes noise and distortion even at maximum gain.

Plug-in for the integrated DSP

To record your performance at its best, you need quick and easy access to inspiring sound. And few things are more disruptive to recording than latency. That's why Duet features an internal DSP for Apogee FX processing, allowing you to shape the sound at the input and record perfect-sounding tracks while eliminating recording-related delays.

Symphony ECS Channel Strip - tuned by Bob Clearmountain

Tuned by mixing legend Bob Clearmountain, the Symphony ECS Channel Strip* features EQ, compression, and saturation controls that let you optimize channel processing for recording vocals or acoustic instruments. Choose from numerous Clearmountain-created presets and record with zero latency via Duet's internal DSP. *Native version of Symphony ECS Channel Strip plug-in sold separately.

Apogee Control 2 Software

The all-new Apogee Control software gives you complete control over all of Duet's features and functions, including the effects of the Symphony ECS Channel Strip running on Duet's hardware DSP. Apogee Control 2 is shared across all Apogee products and allows Apogee support and development to quickly respond to future macOS as well as Windows operating system updates, ensuring compatibility with your workstation.
