Behringer MS 8000

With the MS8000, Behringer has developed an inexpensive 8in/16out microphone splitter in 19" size. The unit has 8 XLR inputs for microphones and DI boxes on the front panel and one XLR out and one XLR link for each channel. The first is used to control the FOH and the second can be used for the monitor or headphone mixer. A special feature is an input link that increases the possible output lines from 2 to 4, whereby the signal can then be fed to the FOH, the monitor system, a recording unit or a broadcast console. Conversely, two inputs can be combined on one output (passive mixer), e.g. to play a stereo signal mono. A 48V phantom power supply is available on the Behringer MS8000 for condenser microphones and active DI boxes.
